Born in Erzincan, the artist completed her primary and secondary education in schools in various cities. In 1987 she graduated from Gebze Sarkuysan High School. In 1994 she entered the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. In 1998 she graduated from the Faruk Taşkale Workshop of the Traditional Turkish Arts, Ornamentation Art Program. In university she received binding courses from İslam Seçen, marbling courses from Hikmet Barutçugil and miniature courses from Yakup Cem. She worked as a manager in the Vakko Beyoğlu Art Gallery during 1998-2002. It 2002 she started her miniature works with miniature artist Taner Alakuş. After 2007-2010 she graduated from the master's degree program of MSGSÜ with her thesis entitled “Examination in Terms of Ornamentation of Manuscript Qurans in the S.Ü. SSM Collection”.
She is giving miniature lessons since 2002 in Local governments. She continues her art works in the Miniature and Ornamentation Design Workshop in 'ZER' Sanat, which is her own workshop.
She works as a miniature instructor in the Biksad Art Workshop since 2014.
