She completed primary, secondary and high school education at Heybeliada. She became interested in Western and Eastern Black Sea music folklore and music, as her family was from Rize Ardeşen. In time she developed her taste for Turkish Music, which she listened to on the radio and television.
In 1996 she went to the Turkish Music Conservatory of the Istanbul University for 1 year.
In 1997 she won the ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory exams and graduated from the Department of Voice Education (Singing) in 2003. She was forced to start professional singing career, as conservator graduates were not allowed to become teachers. Meanwhile she continued her amateur works at the Istanbul University Chorus.
In 2006 she gave solfege and method courses at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center and between 2008-2011 she gave solfege courses at the İSMEK institution of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Between 2011-2013, she worked as master teacher and chief in the field of Sufi music at the women's chorus of the Istanbul Governorate Provincial Mufti's Office. With her solo performances of Turkish Music, she gained the appreciation of the arts community.
In 2012 she started working and current continues as guest vocal artist at the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture Edirne State Turkish Music Ensemble. She has good command of Tanbur and percussions. She continues to benefit from her valuable instructors outside the Conservatory in order to increase her high music taste and knowledge. She was the guest artist in many programs of the TRT Istanbul Radio. She continues her music career with concerts at home and abroad.
She worked with valuable instructors such as Alaeddin Yavaşça, Tanburi Abdi Coşkun, Tanburi Mehmet Şeker and Süheyla Altmışdört at the Conservatory. She developed her taste for sufi music by listening to Kani Karaca, Ahmet Şahin and Ender Doğan. She developed fasil music by working with Nureddin Çeliküstad in person at the serhane. She has been working for five years on the Cinuçen Tanrıkorur repertoire with Selma Sağbaş and Bekir Reha Sağbaş. She is the second best artist, after Boya Uymaz, who can perform this repertoire today with her own distinctive style.
She is currently continuing her high music performance works with Bekir Reha Sağbaş and continues to serve in all projects of master Cinuçen Tanrıkorur.
