He was born in Konya in 1949. He enrolled at the Department of Philosophy of the Istanbul University in 1968. To continue his education, he started working as the Central Chaplain at Eskişehir Mihaliççık under the Presidency of Religious Affairs during 1968-1972.
He graduated from the Department of Philosophy of the Istanbul University in 1974. On the same year (Islamic Calendar: 1395), he received sulus - nasih certificate from Hamid Aytaç. He also took ta'liq courses from Uğur Derman Bey. He worked as imam-preacher at the Hekimoğlu Ali Paşa Mosque during 1976-2002.
He regarded the mosque as the center of the Turkish-Islamic Civilization and continued his efforts to both make it regain its lost functions and his efforts for the imam-preacher duty, assigned by the mission to be the highest level representative of the institution, in order to realize it on a mosque scale and in the külliye project. He worked for the reconstruction and recovery of the ruined mosque, fountain, türbe and hazire. After retiring in 2002, he continued the project "The mosque as the center of the Islamic civilization" project under the Biksad Art Workshop. He is giving calligraphy courses, art seminars and Ottoman Turkish courses.
He produced many istifs and works. These works have been published in various albums and in collections. He has created many architectural works at home and abroad.
He gave certificate to 81 students since 1975. These students are currently courses in calligraphy and educating students.
